What a delight to travel with Ginny through the many years and very interesting places that we wish we could have visited. Well, we can with this fascinating saga of a woman exploring distant cultures and people which she interacts with and brings to us. Nothing held back here, we get a passionate rendering of her travel experiences, loves, and calamities -- thirty years worth. What a deal!!

Daredevil Twilight is written almost by ear in clear rhythmic prose. The author is a gifted photographer, and added pleasure for this reader.
These are travel articles of personal adventure in later life. They describe places not often visited by an older single woman. Virginia Brownback vividly and naturally describes what she sees, what she feels, and the visual beauty around her. The book is inspiring , readable and delightful.

What a joy to lazily read thru Ginny's many years of exploration
to those places we only wish we had visited. With a gently and inquisitive voice, this singular woman travels with the energy of a young and carefree observer, but with the wisdom and sensitivity of someone who has measured events and lived a fuller life. No stock descriptions or worn observations, but rather a deep look at people, relationships, and everyday life.
I highly suggest you read this wonderful book
