Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Nothing is more sacred to the Man Without Fear than the staff of his late mentor Stick. So how do you think he'll react when it's stolen? Who would take this seemingly worthless item and why? And to what ends will Matt Murdock go to retrieve it? From the mean streets of New York City's Hell's Kitchen to the neon spires of Tokyo, this breakneck paced story not only touches on story elements from Frank Millers classic Daredevil run and also brings events full circle to Guardian Devil, the DD saga written by acclaimed filmmaker Kevin Smith!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Don't buy this book!
First of all, let me tell you Brian Michael Bendis is one of my all-time favorite writers, and this is the first time he dissapoints me. His Daredevil run is stellar, but this story is mediocre. The art is VERY good in my opinion, even though its definately an aquired taste. Rob Haynes is a very unique artist, but the story makes this book not fun or interesting. Im a BIG DD fan, and of all the Daredevil stories ive ever read, this just might be the worst.

On the other hand, get all ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - It's ninjariffic
Anything with or about Ninjas makes me happy because I really like ninjas. here's some stuff about ninjas:

1. All ninjas are mammals

Did you know that? I did.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Bendis is a better Daredevil writer than this
Brian Michael Bendis is an excellent Daredevil writer. The other Daredevil trads "Wake Up", "Underboss," and "Out" are much better than this one. This one kind of eats in comparison to those really cool books.

"I hate this ninja crap," is what daredevil says when he learns he must reunite with the disciples of his former sensei, Stick, in order to defeat the bad ninja clan, The Hand. You get the feeling, though that Bendis hates this ninja [stuff] too. Bendis is best when he is writing ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Pointless and Boring
This has to be the worst Daredevil story I've ever read. I can't imagine how a writer could waste such a good character. Lame writing and goofy cartoony art plague this book from start to finish. ...

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Beautiful and new
Brian Michael Bendis is by now well-known in the comic industry as a brilliantly crisp and exciting story-teller. His dialogue is sharp and realistic, and his plots are compelling, even when they are simple, as this one is. Rob Haynes is too little known in my opinion, as his clear and cinematic artwork is setting new standards for the comic book. Wide panels that follow carefully from one to the next, he does a great job of conveying the motion of the story. Put these two together on a great character ... Read More
